Following global incidents such as terrorism natural disasters and energy shortages, firms have been taking multiple steps-either voluntarily or to meet mandated government regulations - to ensure safe transit of their goods across international borders. Adequately preparing for, and taking steps to minimize the impact of such unforeseeable situations is clearly important to the stability and well being of countries and businesses alike. Corporations view “Supply Chain Security” in terms of cost and inherent benefits. This can be considered in a similar light as an effective Quality Assurance program, which when implemented properly is proactive, precautionary, |

Whether your business is located in North American, or China or both.
Our partnerships currently will expedite your business, while providing you with trusted partnerships currently established who have been successfully certified compliant or accredited members of ours, which in return will expedite your business is ways you have never known. |
The goal is to identify compliant trusted (meaning Certified Importers, Exporters, Transporters and coordinating commercial imported and exported cargo) traders who have good attested supply chain security procedures, written and affective security threat awarenesstraining programs and verifiable controls to reduce screening of their imported or exported cargo.
In turn, this enables International Customs Administrator’s to focus screening on import and export cargo transactions involving unknown or high risk (uncertified) Importer and Export traders.
While these and other initiatives allow companies to maintain their level of operations and/or to reduce risks, they require significant levels of investment.
Unfortunately, many organizations have found it difficult to provide a business case to justify security investments, and are therefore reluctant to invest in security the minimum necessary. |

and thus preventative with regards to cost, time, and the overall ease of operation.
The same thing can be applied to Security. If a container was found to be holding contraband at any point in the supply chain, it would adversely affect the reputation of the organization, tarnishing both its public image and ultimately the future of a stable and profitable customer base.Global MLX inc. is a leader in assisting domestic & international trade stakeholders acquire and maintain “Supply Chain Security Certifications” by tailoring our services to fit the needs of each client’s objectives and budgets.
The shift is now on globalizing security standards worldwide with the introduction of Customs administered certifications to “voluntary” supply chain security programs.
“Supply Chain” refers to all processes of the entire spectrum of manufacturing, from point of origin (raw materials), to final destination (consumer), including manufacturing steps, transportation, and all records thereof, both internationally and domestically.
International trade is no longer just about moving goods quickly and cheaply, it’s about moving goods quickly, efficiently and securely.
These international supply chain security programs (hyperlink list of programs) utilize risk management principles that seek to enrol compliant low-risk companies who are directly responsible for importing, exporting, transporting, and coordinating commercial imported and exported cargo.
The “100% Scanning and/or Inspection” is an US Customs cross border security regulation which is part of and governed by US Customs “SAFE Port Act”. Under the 100% Scanning every shipment that crosses the U.S. borders is entered into the Automated Targeting System (ATS) which scrutinizes large volume of data related to that shipment. The ATS automatically assigns a risk score rating, this helps gauge whether this shipment may be placed within a risk group or a compliant trusted company. Risk scoring is an international standard with mutually recognized countries. |
The main reason for this reluctance is that companies have been focused largely on direct expenses related to security initiatives, and not the collateral benefits that can be realized from such investments, such as:
In fact, when properly leveraged, investments in supply chain security may not be offset to some extent by benefits but, in fact, can be outweighed by such benefits, and can overall have a positive impact on a company’s bottom line.
Risk management is no longer an option. In a highly competitive business environment, companies cannot afford to have costly or inadequate security.
Global MLX Inc is proud to offer our hands-on expertise, in-depth knowledge, and practical solutions that improve our clients’ business efficiency bringing heretofore unrealized dollars to the bottom line, having a positive return on investment. Effective risk management can be nothing less than the defence of company profitability. |
