• Ms. Aitken, President & C.E.O. of Global MLX Inc, is a highly accomplished and effective advisor for Canadian & US Customs Compliancy, C-TPAT & PIP Certification, as well as a Transport & Logistics expert consultant. She has served in a variety of pivotal roles ranging from board advisor, GM and VP of Operations, to secure the success of the transformation and renewal efforts for manufacturing and service corporations nationally and internationally.  Her skills include sales and marketing, research, distribution, business process re-engineering, supply chain management, product value enhancement and market re-positioning, core competency focusing, organizational development and re-organization, and commercial transactions.  Her breadth of experience has successfully propelled all of her interventions.

    Most recently she served as board advisor for a multi-site/multi-lingual $40 million packaging converter whose Board required short-term leadership during transition. Her charter was to stabilize the environment, perform cost reductions, drive profitable top line growth and manage operational change during the new CEO selection process. She also served as General Manager for a $28 million in-line profile plastic extrusion company, managing its successful six month turnaround effort and sale, as well as serving as a General Manager of a $65 million bottling company to lead its corporate renewal and sale of one of its holdings.

    Prior to her turnaround practice, Ms. Aitken held a senior advisory position with an Investors Group, whose practice focus was to provide Fortune series companies, as well as mid cap organizations with deliverable driven services designed to improve operational and financial performance. Her practices areas were concentrated in leading the development and deployment of profitable strategies for organizational wide process improvement and re-engineering, sales and marketing, service and product quality (ISO – QS), supply chain management, conversion cost reduction, sourcing strategies, labor productivity, product rationalization, and organizational alignment. She was also called on to assess, plan and manage consolidations, revitalizations, manufacturing restructurings, and competitive strategic growth planning initiatives.


    Ms. Aitken has an in-depth 15 year of experience level in the following industries: primary and fabricated metals, precision machining, plastic products, paper products, automotive, hazardous materials, recreational equipment, various durable goods (commercial and consumer), distribution, printing, food and beverages, construction, technology, heavy equipment, packaging, composite manufacturing, facilities management and US & Canadian Customs regulations.
